What Omsorg is—and what we are not
Omsorg is an assisted living residence with 24/7 nurses and weekly visiting physicians, not an acute intensive care hospital. We do not accept ventilator-dependent patients or acute psychiatric cases requiring locked containment. When an elder reaches end-of-life or requires hospital admission, we coordinate seamlessly with families and treating specialists.
